Look after your rug

Our woven picnic throw rugs are made to be used and loved. Here’s how to keep yours in great shape:

Washing

• Yes, they’re machine washable!
• Wash on a cold, gentle cycle with mild detergent.
• No bleach, fabric softener, or harsh chemicals.
• Picnic rugs may shrink up to 10% after the first wash—but they typically relax and stretch back out with use.
  

Drying

• Air dry only. Hang in the shade to avoid color fading.
• Avoid tumble drying to protect the fibers.
  

Softens Over Time

Your picnic rug will soften beautifully with each wash.

Handling Tips

• These rugs are woven, so avoid sharp objects (rings, keys, pet claws) to prevent snags.
• Do not vacuum—instead, shake it out or gently spot clean if needed.
